“Financial Prophet” Whitney Tilson is back with a time-sensitive teaser.
He says a new policy initiative called “Project E-92” could send seven specific stocks soaring as soon as the story hits the mainstream, so we only have a short window of time to get in before it's too late.
The Teaser
This secretive government initiative has far-reaching implications, including matters of national security, and involves a critical industry currently worth over $4.5 trillion.
At this point, Whitney Tilson is an old friend of the Green Bull, like a repeat guest on a late-night talk show that comes on to tell new jokes. I have recently reviewed his “Chaffee Royalty Program” Stock and DNA Titan Company teasers, among many others.
So, what is this unreported technology and policy initiative that $5 billion and counting of private capital has already poured into?
Apparently, it's not AI, semiconductors, automation, cloud computing, virtual reality, healthcare, or any of the usual suspects. Instead, Whitney says “Project E-92 is more vital to the world's future than literally everything else combined.”
The world cannot do without it, not even for a single day. If it disappeared tomorrow, we would instantly be back in the Stone Age and millions would perish because virtually everything we need depends on it.
Drumroll please…Whitney is talking about electricity.
A New Breed of Energy Technology
Of course, there's nothing new about electricity.
It's been around in organized form for the better part of two centuries, but we're not talking about alternating layers of zinc and copper here.
“Project E-92” is about nuclear power in the United States.
Cleverly, the atomic number 92 signifies uranium, and what Whiney refers to as “E-92” means “electricity from uranium.”
Gallup polling from earlier this year reveals that 55% of Americans now either “strongly” or “somewhat” support nuclear electricity production, while only 44% remain opposed to it.
Today, nuclear energy is a key component of the energy mix, accounting for about 20% of the electricity generated in the United States, and importantly it is carbon-free.
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recognizes this and is actively funding advanced nuclear energy technology projects in 30 states.
This financial backing, policy support, and developmental cooperation of the U.S. government is turbo-charging the nuclear sector and seven stocks have the potential to double or triple in value over the next several years as a result.
The Pitch
All seven of these stocks are revealed in a new three-volume energy opportunity dossier, which is included in the Energy Supercycle Investor newsletter.
The Energy Supercycle Investor newsletter was started one year ago by Whitney's Empire Financial Research advisory service and an annual subscription costs ‘only' $995.
All three special reports are included for this price, as are long-horizon stock picks in periodic lots, “special profit reports” that act as guidebooks on timely stock picks, members-only video meetings, and more. Whitney really pulls out all the frills for a subscription.
Nuclear: The Cleanest, Safest Form of Power?
When someone utters the words nuclear power, what is the first thing that comes to mind?
Perhaps they bring flashbacks of nuclear disasters such as Chernobyl or more recently, Fukushima.
This indicates that nuclear power has a perception problem, more than an actual operational one. Here are some cold-hard stats to back up this claim.
The simple truth is that worldwide, in over six decades of civilian nuclear power generation, only around 30 people have ever died from nuclear accidents or mishaps, and they all stem from Chernobyl.
Compare this to the more than 75,000 Americans who've been killed since 1968 by black lung disease from coal mining, or the more than 682 Americans who've died in natural gas pipeline or other transmission system accidents since 1994, or even the 100-150 people who die every year installing solar panels.
The bottom line is, that no source of electric power is safer than nuclear. But the benefits don't stop here.
Greener than All Renewables
Not only is uranium plentiful in the U.S. and in most places abroad, but it creates very little waste.
If we take the entirety of American nuclear production, which goes back more than 60 years. In all that time, the entire amount of waste produced would fit into a 30-foot-deep swimming pool the size of a football field.
It's not even all waste, as much of it can be reprocessed, recycled, and even reused as nuclear fuel in newer, more advanced reactors.
Add to this the fact that replacing just a single full-sized conventional nuclear power plant sitting on a single square mile of land would take over three million solar panels, on 75 square miles. Or over 400 wind turbines, on 360 square miles, and the sustainability case for nuclear is solid, no pun intended.
So, safe, clean, and plentiful, all that's required for nuclear energy to power the world is the policy to allow it to flourish and this is now beginning to happen.
Just about the only thing both major political parties in America are in support of is nuclear electricity generation and that spells opportunity for nuclear power investors.
Revealing Whitney Tilson's “Project E-92” Nuclear Power Stocks
Whitney teases a handful of companies that are poised to soar if there is a global explosion in nuclear power.
Here are the clues we get for each:
Nuke Stock #1
-
Today, this company has approximately two million customers across the continental United States.
- Over 85% of the electricity they provide to those customers comes from nuclear power plants.
This is very likely Constellation Energy Corp. (Nasdaq: CEG).
- he Baltimore, Maryland-based utility boasts two million customers across the continental U.S.
- Nearly 90% of the energy Constellation produces is carbon-free.
Nuke Stock #2
- The company is an integrated power producer (IPP) that's well positioned in the emerging “energy transition” industry.
- They're currently in the process of purchasing another energy firm with one of the largest nuclear fleets in the U.S.
This is definitely Vistra Corp. (NYSE: VST).
- Vista is an IPP that acquired Energy Harbor Corp.'s nuclear and retail businesses back in March. The combination creates the second-largest competitive nuclear fleet in the country.
Nuke Stock #3
- This firm is a pure nuclear play, with 80% of revenue coming from government contracts.
- They just landed a $428 million contract with the DOE's National Nuclear Security Administration for uranium conversion and purification.
A simple search for the $428 million DOE contract award confirmed that this is BWX Technologies Inc. (NYSE: BWXT).
- BWX's Nuclear Fuel Services, Inc. (NFS) subsidiary was awarded the $428 million contract from the DOE's National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) to provide purification and conversion services for highly enriched uranium.
Nuke Stock #4
- Whitney predicts the fourth company will be a key player in the promotion and adoption of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) in America.
- They have been on a roll lately, too, snagging both a $263 million contract with the DOE and another $200 million in capital from high-profile Japanese and Korean investors, including Samsung.
The answer here is NuScale Power Corp. (NYSE: SMR).
- Since 2014, the U.S. Department of Energy has provided more than $600 million to support the design, licensing, and siting of NuScale's VOYGR SMR power plant and other domestic SMR concepts. This has helped make the company a key player in the SMR space.
Nuke Stocks #5, #6 & #7
- Whitney says this is a trio of uranium mining companies.
- Between the three companies, we'll be getting exposure to both of the existing conventional uranium mills in the United States and a Canadian mill serving one of the world's largest uranium mines (14% of global production).
In regards to the first two picks, the White Mesa Mill in Utah is the only fully licensed and operating conventional uranium mill in the United States. It is owned by Energy Fuels Inc. (NYSE: UUUU). The second, non-operational conventional uranium mill is very likely the Ticaboo Townsite, owned by the aptly named Uranium Energy Corp. (NYSE: UEC).
As for the Canadian mill, Whitney is alluding to McArthur River, the world's largest uranium mine, responsible for 14.5% of world uranium production. It is owned and operated by Cameco Corp. (NYSE: CCJ).
There you have it, seven picks, seven reveals. Now I know how Tom Brady must have felt winning those seven Super Bowls.
Gains of 13,000% or more over the Long Haul?
All of Whitney's seven picks are profitable businesses, with the exception of NuScale Power and Uranium Energy, which posted negative earnings in the last quarter.
They range wildly in terms of valuation from 8x trailing earnings for Vistra Corp. to over 200x for Cameco. But the risk is spread if the entire basket is purchased, which would be the play here, in order to get the broadest exposure to the nuclear sector possible.
13,000% is a huge number, but everyday companies such as Home Depot and Tractor Supply have seen such gains over the long haul, so it's not so far-fetched.

Is nuclear power the future of electricity? Let us know what you think in the comments.
A Very good read and excellent job on the research. Thank You for your efforts. I do believe this is a good play considering how many support the idea and the fact how much little waste it generates, it is by far the cleanest solution for the world. It may take quite some time to come together but I believe it will.
I think Nuclear is the only sensible way to go but may not be “politically correct” so gov’t approval could be difficult
Nuclear is much more expensive (~5 times!!) than wind or solar. The only recent plants built in the US will cost the utility and the rate payers many billions over alternative renewables: https://apnews.com/article/business-environment-united-states-georgia-atlanta-7555f8d73c46f0e5513c15d391409aa3.
I have a subscription to Empire and DNN is part of the Nuclear Supercycle. I don’t see CCJ. Also, Whitney Tilson sent out an email that Empire Financial Research is merging with Stansberry Research.
