Keith Kohl’s P-932 Company – A 62,400% Growth Opportunity?

Keith Kohl encourages us to take everything we think we know about energy and throw it out the window.

That's because a miraculous new innovation, which is a quantum leap beyond all known available sources of electricity is about to power everything, and one “P-932 Company” is bringing it to the world.

The Teaser

This development is so profound, that the U.S. State Department considers “P-932” a matter of national security.

Keith Kohl isn't new to this, if his name sounds familar, that's because you may remember it from such teaser reviews as the “American Miner Breaking China's Metals Monopoly” and #1 Nuclear Stock, among others.

This means we shouldn't be too quick to dismiss his claims, no matter how Nikola Tesla-esque they may seem.

Modern society faces many problems, like keeping Costco hot dog prices in check and stopping the government from stalking your Facebook account, but harnessing an inexhaustible supply of free energy tops the list.

It's so important that uprisings, coups, and wars have been fought for the resources that produce it.

After all this, Keith states that the holy grail of energy may have finally been discovered inside an obscure old industrial building in Massachusetts.

It's also where the story takes a dark turn.

The building houses MIT’s Plasma Science and Fusion Center, the very same institution that slain MIT professor Nuno Loureiro was the Director of.

This may be Greenbull's first ever teaser review/murder mystery.

Apparently, the center was working on new fusion technologies and made a serious, yet unrelated breakthrough. One that would have been like tapping into roughly 8 thousand trillion barrels of oil or 232,000 times the oil we produce in one year.

Enough to power the world “for billions of years.”

Why is P-932 being kept under such tight wraps and how is Keith recommending we play it?

The Pitch

All the details are in a special novel, I mean briefing called: “Geothermal Goldmine: How to Ride P-932 to the New Energy Golden Age!

The only way to get our hands on it is with a subscription to Keith's Energy Investor newsletter.

It costs $99 upfront for the first year and comes with a generous 180-day money-back guarantee.

The New Golden Age Fuel

If not Nikola Tesla’s famous free energy device, then what is the fuel that Keith believes will lead to a new American Golden Age?

Keith mentions that…

It is a proven source of energy that physicists have known about for 100 years going all the way back to Albert Einstein with his famous formula E=MC squared

He's talking about Geothermal Energy.

A source of power that is a combination of radioactive decay of uranium-238, nuclear isotopes along with uranium-235, thorium-232, and potassium-40, extracted from the earth's crust.

Although this atomic nuclei is plentiful, especially in the United States, per this map from the Department of Energy:

Extracting it is another matter.

You have to drill DEEP into the ground where temperatures are so high, they melt drill bits like popsicles on a hot summer day.

Not only this, but you need to be near a volcano or someplace where the geology is optimal, like out west, Iceland or New Zealand.

So the reason it's not widespread is because it costs too much, takes too long, and would put many other energy providers out of business.

This is where the technological breakthrough Keith calls P-932 comes in.

An Untapped Powerhouse

While working on a nuclear fusion project, the MIT plasma and fusion lab discovered a completely new way to drill that was thousands of times faster and didn’t melt drill bits.

What they came up with is a powerful new drill that is capable of withstanding temperatures as high as 3,000 degrees at the point of contact using a gyrotron to melt and vaporize bedrock.

Keith calls it P-932 because it's powerful enough to drill a basketball sized hole at 20 meters per hour while reaching areas where the temperature is as high as 932 degrees Fahrenheit.

Enough fuel to power the planet sounds nice and potentially mega-profitable too. And it can't come soon enough as we're projected to need a lot more energy over the next half-decade.

But how do we invest in the groundbreaking technology that overcomes the final barrier to real geothermal power?

Revealing Keith Kohl's P-932 Company

Keith doesn't elaborate how a commercial company got access to the P-932 tech developed by MIT, but minor details shouldn't take away from the clues we did get:

  • The company holds the patent to the gyrotron-powered drilling platform that vaporizes boreholes through rock without complex downhole equipment.
  • It is backed by man who co-founded Sun Microsystems, funded Doordash, Affirm, and OpenAI, among others.
  • Early partners include The Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Nabors Industries, and General Atomics.

Going by the description, this sounds like a spot-on profile of Quaise Inc., a privately-held, MIT spinoff focused on unlocking geothermal energy. All the clues check out:

  • Quaise has developed a gyrotron-powered platform for deep geothermal drilling.
  • It is backed by Vinod Khosla, co-founder of Sun Microsystems and a venture investor who has invested in the likes of OpenAI through his Khosla Ventures VC firm.
  • Nabors Industries has provided financing to Quaise in the past and the initial testing of it's technology took place at the DOE's Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Like a Russian doll, this teaser contains clues within clues, and we've tracked down some answers.

A 62,400% Growth Opportunity?

This had a little bit of everything, intrigue, mystery, and even murder.

Keith gave geothermal energy the category killer treatment, like it was oil in 1901, the internet in 1990, and smartphones in 2005.

The reality, is much more subdued, but still good.

McKinsey suggests next-generation geothermal energy could supply up to 100 gigawatts of power in the United States by 2050, with approximately 40 gigawatts by 2035, eering on the conservative side.

It's not 62,000% growth, but seeing as geothermal energy only supplies 2,700 megawatts of electric power to residents at present, it would be 15x over the next decade.

I'm not going to pretend to know if Quaise's geothermal tech is better than the Russian's which dug the deepest human-made hole on earth, but it is one of the only geothermal pure plays that we can indirectly invest in.

The recommended play may be privately-owned, but the backdoor way into it, which Keith makes no mention of, is to buy stock in publicly-traded Nabors Industries Ltd. (NYSE: NBR).

As per the last clue we received, Nabors is indeed partnered with Quaise, as an equity investor in it's $12 million fundraising in 2021.

The company is an international drilling contractor that already owns the world's largest land drilling rig fleet, sells for…double checking price quote, less than 6x trailing earnings, and is an active acquirer, so it is serious about achieving above-average growth. A solid pick overall.

Any fairly-priced or better yet, cheaply-priced, emeging energy play, like hydropower, nuclear or geothermal is well-positioned to outperform over the next decade.

Quick Recap & Conclusion

  • Keith Kohl is teasing a miraculous new energy innovation, that is a quantum leap beyond all known available sources of electricity, and one “P-932 Company” is bringing it to market.
  • Keith is talking about Geothermal Energy. An emerging source of power that is a combination of radioactive decay of uranium-238, nuclear isotopes along with uranium-235, thorium-232, and potassium-40, extracted from the earth's crust.
  • One MIT spinoff has developed a powerful new way to drill for this nuclei that is capable of reaching areas where the temperature is as high as 932 degrees (P-932) and all the details on it are in a briefing called: “Geothermal Goldmine: How to Ride P-932 to the New Energy Golden Age!” The only way to get it is with a subscription to Keith's Energy Investor newsletter, which costs $99 upfront for the first year.
  • We revealed Keith's pick for free, privately-held Quaise Inc., and the back door way to invest in it through Nabors Industries Ltd. (NYSE: NBR), which owns a minority equity stake in Quaise.
  • Nabors is one of the cheapest stocks I have seen in recent memory and it comes with a profitable international drilling business as well as a stake in an emerging energy play.
